Our Mission
To provide a Christ-centered environment for home schooled young men to
play baseball at the highest competitive level.
Wake County Home School Baseball was started in 2000. Since then, our program has grown to field four teams (2 high school and 2 middle school teams) that compete with other home school, private and public school programs in the area. WCHS has been successful competing against some of the top baseball programs in the area, as well as in equipping those players who have the ability and desire to compete at the college level after graduation. More importantly we have seen our players develop in character and maturity in Christ as they become equipped for the game of life.
High School Varsity/JV
The WCHS Varsity plays a 30-35 game schedule against other home, private and public school programs in the area. We are involved with the Homeschool World Series Association (HWSA) and are members the North Carolina Home Educators Athletic Conference (NCHEAC) The Warriors have been NCHEAC State Champs four times (2010, 2011, 2013, 2014) and have placed in the top 5 of the HWSA World Series Division 1 five times, finishing 2nd in 2012, 2013, and 2016. The Warriors have also been one of the few non-NCHSAA member school invited to area spring break tournaments such as the Bobby Murray and Hilltop Invitational, both premier 4A events.
The 2012 Warriors were the Bobby Murray Invitational champions.
The Warriors Junior Varsity plays around a 20 game schedule against other programs in the area.
The Junior Varsity is an opportunity for younger players to develop their skills and gain experience in preparation for playing at the varsity level. Tryouts for Varsity/JV are usually held in the fall (November) followed by a series of winter workouts in December and January. Practice starts at the beginning of February and the season runs March-May. Practices have been held at South Park in Fuquay-Varina, NC.
Home games have been played at historic Fleming Stadium in Wilson, and at USA Baseball in Cary.
The Warriors program depends on players fees and donations to cover all team expenses.
The Varsity Warriors are led by David Bailey. For more information on Warriors Varsity/JV teams,

Middle School
The Warriors middle school program sponsors two middle school teams, a varsity (7th - 8th graders) and a junior varsity (6th-7th graders). Both teams will play in the Wake County Middle School Club Baseball League, which consists of public middle schools. The team will play around a 20 game schedule, including 14 league games which begin in March and finish in May. Practices will take place in Fuquay-Varina and home games will take place in the South Wake area. This is a competitive baseball league. The base distance is 90 feet, and the pitching mound distance is 60'6".
